HELLO, i’m Erisiha
Your independent wedding celebrant across London, Hertfordshire, UK & dream destinations

The ceremonies that remain with us the longest are those where we feel entirely seen, heard, and understood.
Whilst crafting a beautiful script is essential, my deeper work is about ensuring you feel completely supported from the moment we first meet.
If you are looking for a ceremony that is sophisticated, stylish, and deeply moving, you require a creative partner who understands the magnitude of what you are creating, and brings the genuine warmth to match it.
I am here for you.

As a hopeless romantic, I genuinely love hearing how two people found each other.
Honesty, kindness, inclusivity, and compassion are at the heart of everything I do. I believe that the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference.
Whether it’s greeting a stranger with a smile or standing alongside a couple on their wedding day, I hope everyone I meet feels welcomed, valued and at ease.

Family means everything to me. I’m incredibly lucky to have three wonderful sons, two beautiful daughters-in-law, and four gorgeous grandchildren who make my heart sing.
Like every family, we’ve celebrated life’s greatest joys and faced heartbreaking loss. Those experiences have deepened my empathy and remind me what a privilege it is to create ceremonies that honour life’s most precious moments with warmth, care and authenticity.

The Heart Behind What I Do
Growing up in a multicultural family, with Sri Lankan, Portuguese, Dutch, Scottish, and Irish heritage, has given me a deep appreciation for the beauty of bringing different cultures, traditions, and families together. It has shaped not only who I am, but also the way I create every ceremony – with warmth, care and genuine curiosity about each couple’s story.
I’m especially passionate about creating meaningful fusion ceremonies that honour the traditions and values that matter most to you, whilst feeling natural, personal and authentically yours.
Many of my couples tell me they chose me because they felt understood from the very beginning, knowing they could trust me to create a ceremony where everyone feels welcomed, included, and celebrated.
How It All Began
My journey to becoming a celebrant began with my late step-father, Bill. After his sister’s funeral, he quietly took me to one side and, in his wonderfully matter-of-fact way, said, “You should do that. You’d have done a much better job.”
Typical Bill — kind, honest and completely convinced before I was. He planted a seed that eventually led me to train as a celebrant, and I often find myself smiling and thinking, “You were right, Bill. Thank you”.
Before becoming a celebrant, I spent many years running my own florist business, supporting couples and families through some of life’s most meaningful moments, as well as working as an executive assistant, where organisation, attention to detail and staying calm under pressure became second nature.
Both careers taught me the importance of listening, empathy, and always going the extra mile, which I continue to do with my families and couples.
